Murphy Bed. Outside mount means it only shows when bed is down. Mechanism is hidden when cabinet is closed. Cabinet is shown as example but it must be built or supplied by customer. This means Lumber will need to be supplied. *Affordable space alternative. Much less expensive than a room addition. *The XSMVO Hardware Mechanism allows the craftsman to produce a trouble free piece in most design disciplines. *XSMVO mechanisms are specified for twin, full or double and queen North American Standard size mattresses to meet the users needs. *Use standard sheets and bed covers. *Completely adjustable to accommodate either MDF or light weight veneer core construction. *Completely adjustable to accommodate all mattress sizes and function perfectly. Mattress thickness may effect required cabinet depth, however. *Outside mattress box mounted mechanism will accommodate a standard sleep set of a mattress and inner spring or foundation. *Fabricator provides matching wood foot tie rod. *Complete assembly and installation instructions are available. *Unit is not returnable. Install is difficult and should not be attempted by amateurs. Broken or damaged parts during install is a real concern and we will not replace them. Some may be purchased if available. We recommend XCMVOBTSPLIT1 series as the easier alternative. More expensive, yes but considering the labor involved with the XSMVO series it is worth the extra cost.
