Skye was such a wonderful lady. She had
all the excitement and innocence of a child. It was as if life had not dealt
her any blows, surely she had some. Yet life had not jaded her spirit. When
we would go on a trip, she would show the thrill a child shows when you
tell them you're going to the circus. I delighted in that attitude. Sometimes
when life put me in the darkness, she would be right there, lighting my
way. I would give my life for one more day with her. She so affected people
around her, which many a friend will attest. She was very much a "Glass
is Half Full" type person. You truely don't know what you have until
it is gone.
