The Wood Replacement Seat Boards are sold untrimmed due to different shapes and various sizes of chairs to be fitted. They can be cut to shape on a band saw, saber saw, or scroll saw. AB-3509 Decorative Nails are the most popular for the installation of chair seats as they have small heads with a low dome. Other nails also work well. Nails work for Fiber Seats, Leather Seats and Wood Seats. To determine the amount of nails necessary, plan on using at least one nail one to one and a half inch apart. For example, a chair seat 13" in diameter using a 1 1/2" spacing would require 28 nails. |
